Training is the cornerstone of the secret of our high standards of care.
Not content with achieving National Vocation Qualifications, most staff undertake many extra hours of training than the national minimum standards. Indeed we have had members of staff who have not just been content with the difference they make at College Fields but have left to try and make a difference in the hospital settings. We are pleased to be able to report that after a short time most return as they find that the standards of training at College Fields is so much better.
It is not just nurses and carers who benefit but all disciplines within the organisation are encouraged to further their knowledge and improve their practice.
