Christmas at College Fields is special. It is a time for celebration, a time for family and friends getting together and a time for reminiscing. Everyone tries to make it special. The staff go out of their way to make the environment special by decorating each floor in a particular festive manner.
This year ground floor was ‘Santa’s workshop’ complete with his elves, middle floor was ‘The Polar Express’ complete with track and train and as can be seen in the photos appropriately clad workers. Top floor was dressed as a Victorian Christmas street scene complete with a jail.
The staff made the various decorations including the penguins and train! Those residents who wished to and were able joined in too. Some of those who could not join in when the school children came around were treated to the children giving them a private carol in their rooms. Our thanks to the school children who helped us make the Christmas for the residents so special this year.
