The main lounge is where the main gatherings take place. Concerts take place here but generally it is an area where residents their families and friends can meet up and have a chat.
The decoration is in keeping with the Edwardian design of the building.
There are other areas where residents can get together. The dining room is also used by residents for activities such as bingo or craft  activities. On the first floor is a conservatory overlooking the Bristol Channel where residents can meet up.

Whilst there is a high definition large screen television in the lounge each of the resident’s bedrooms has its own television so they can choose their own channel or have peace and quiet. Often the large television is not used in the lounge and it can be an area of quiet social times. Other times it is the centre of attraction and when the royal wedding took place the lounge was crowded and the TV was so enjoyed.
