Residents who are able and wish to be involved are encouraged to take part in activities that take place in the home for their benefit.
The activities are tailored to the needs and abilities of those present and may be choirs, school choirs are a particular favourite, bingo or any one of a number of other activities.
From time to time those who are able can enjoy a trip to crafts shops or a lunch in one of the local pubs. A minibus is available capable of taking two wheelchair residents and ambulant residents together with carers.
A specific member of staff is employed for this sole purpose. Should residents or families have particular interests then every effort will be made to stimulate that interest.
