Long service awards were made by Katie Tempest the deputy chief inspector of CSSIW  to members of the team at College fields who had achieved landmark terms of service.

10, 15 and even 20 year long service awards were made on the day and they received not only individual presentations but also commemorative badges showing their length of service and individualised with their names.

The day was graced by Katie Tempest who knew a number of the staff from a previous visit and Katie made some very kind comments about the care residents enjoyed. She also stayed on to join in with the concert that had been put on by the excellent professional musician Hank Edwards who entertained everyone with songs familiar to all that everyone could and did join in with.All in all it was a day that residents and staff will remember for a long time.
